font of 10 point using double-spaced format including references. Each page should be
numbered. Save the manuscript in either HWP or Microsoft Word. The manuscript order
is: (1) title page, (2) blind title page, (3) abstract and key words, (4) text, (5) references,
(6) tables, figures, illustrations and photos, and (7) appendices if necessary.
All submissions must include a cover letter (may be sent as e-mail text). The cover letter
should include the statement ‘the manuscript represents an original work which has not been
published elsewhere’ and ‘the manuscript has not and will not be considered for publication
elsewhere until a decision is made regarding its acceptability by the IJHMS’. The cover
letter should also indicate the section in which they want the manuscript to be reviewed.
When the manuscript content overlaps, the authors should indicate those sections.
The title page should include the full title of the manuscript, author’s full name(s),
institutional affiliations of all authors as well as the corresponding author’s mail address,
telephone number, and e-mail address.
Blind title page

The text should be arranged under appropriate headings and subheadings (e.g.
introduction, methods, results discussion, and conclusion). The text should not contain any
author identifiers. It is recommended that the text should not exceed 14 typewritten pages
for regular manuscripts.
References, tables, figures
Follow the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA 5th ed.)
for the references and tables and figures. Tables and figures should be numbered in sequence
throughout the manuscript. Each should be on a separate sheet at the end of the manuscript.
The editorial board reviews all submitted manuscripts for appropriateness for the
identified topic and conformance to the writing style. When deemed appropriate,
manuscripts are distributed to three reviewers with expertise in the area. Reviewers return
the manuscript with one of the following recommendations: accept, accept with revisions,
reject. Allow 8-12 weeks for the review process.
Once acceptance, authors transfer all copyright of the manuscripts to the KAHPERD.
Authors will be provided a copyright release form. The corresponding author will receive
page proofs for correction if necessary. The author bears responsibility for proofreading the
manuscript. The journal prints the manuscript
